Post: Today I have spent a good 2-3 hours looking around the largest used book store in the united kingdom. It is known as "bookbarn" and is basically a warehouse filled with shelves of old books, videos, comics, vinyl and other uber-cool-geek stuff (UCGS). They had pretty much everything and I wish I had browsed their "best books" section where they keep the first editions, signed books and other rare and out of print works. So I spent my day looking for some good bargains; most books being one or two quid (pounds). In searching for works by Vladimir Nabokov and Chuck Palahniuk I was sadly unsuccessful, however I did not come away displeased. Spending eight delicious english pounds I purchased for myself;
Thomas Hardy's "Selected Stories"
Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World"
Voltaire's "Candide"
Goethe's "Faust Part One"
Goethe's "Faust Part Two"
So I have plenty of reading ahead of me. I look forward to it.
The matter with one2host seems to have been resolved but we'll see.
